Hate to tell you this, but I think someone has replaced the original
drives. The Hard Drive should be a removable disk, or did they make
unclassified Tempest systems?.
I figured as much anyway. My guess is that someone bought this secondhand
and used it for a while. I'll know for sure if I fire it up and find
basic crap on the hard drive like letters and checkbook balances, etc.
I'm trying to figure out if I can use a normal power cord for this, since
there is a normal power cord socket on the back, or if the actual power
cord is the one that attaches to that round, shielded power connecctor.
My casual examinations so far have shed no light on it. I may have to
tear into it a bit to figure it out.
