I have been playing around with a collection of old Flip Chips that I
have and put together a VC8/I compatible scope controller for my PDP8/e.

The only reason this was possible was because I had two 10-bit D/A
converters (A618), the rest of the modules are pretty common.
Thanks to David Gesswein for some test programs.

Pretty slick... since it's not the LAB/8 design, I wonder what it
would take to fire up the 12-bit version of Spacewar on it.
I've wanted to put something like the VC8I in my -8/i, but I've never
seen the board set. Something like what you've put together is at
least a possibility. Thanks for sharing it with us.
