I'm sure that most of you are aware that many of the newer Intel and clone
processors are real heat generators and that it's critical to keep them with specified
temperature limits. I downloaded and installed a CPU and motherboard temperture monitoring
program called MotherBoard Monitor. My question is how accurate are these types of
programs? On CPU intensive task my CPU frequently pegs out the temperature gauge in the
MBM but the BIOS temperature monitoring never shows any indication of overheating.
