With only 640k? I think I've settled on the xt/286 version of minix. I don't
want a big investment, and I'm no hard core linux user myself. I know my way
around, but I like experimenting with new things on these old things
(computers, that is.)

On this subject, one thing which may be of interest to the members of
this list, there is a port of a Linux subset going on at the moment
which will run on anything 8088 or above with 640k and will boot from
360k floppy. If anyone is interested then look at

This is still under development, but it is coming together fast.
