Early firmware for the Nook had issues, new versions are fine. This
is what they tell me anyway since I don't own one myself nor have I
paid much attention to ebooks.
With my failing eyesight, I can't imagine trying to read something
that was printed on A4 or 8.5x11 paper on a 6-inch (is that diagonal
measurement?) screen. For me, it'd be like reading the micrographic
edition of the OED without a magnifier.
