Free to a good home: 2 Tandem Himalaya K200 mainframes (circa 1993, according to the date stamps inside), a disk array, some spare disks, two terminals, assorted system cabling, spare internal cards and spare internal disks. The fellow I got them from worked for NYSE Euronext, and said that they were used there before he acquired them through official channels after they were decommissioned. I have a printout of an e-mail to that effect, which also includes instructions for bringing them up?something I?ve never tried to do. They take a couple C19 power cords (provided) on an 8A circuit, and are reportedly working. They are large (76x102x53cm) and heavy (two strong people can lift one, just).
