Yeah, eBay seems to be full of this kind of thing. I won an auction for some minor stuff a couple of months ago. Silence, then a note closed--followed by a note saying that he dropped the item and the plastic case had cracked. When I asked him to send the item anyway (I wanted the guts, not the case), he said he'd thrown it away already. Funny thing is that the item had a metal case... I tend to trust the Chinese sellers more than the domestic ones, all things considered. --Chuck
