I guess it also points out the potential usefulness
of
allowing a public message board connected to each auction.
It could be used for good or evil, but it would certainly
be entertaining. It would be the eBay equivalent of
rolling your eyes at a fellow auction bidder, or laughing
with a friend in the back of the crowd.
I've thought about this, since it would be nice to be able
to have a way to let bidders know there's a problem with a
description (I've emailed sellers before and not one has
ever corrected a listing), but I'm sure this will never
come about as it would allow people to point out other
places to get the item, possibly cheaper, and eBay would
lose their commission).
