machine is having problems with the line clock, would I need to do anything
to the aux switch, other than leave it in a certain position?
Because if you are getting unexpected LTC interrupts with the AUX switch in the up
position, it probably means there is something wrong with the interrupt enable circuitry
in the LTC itself.
