where are they now?
Kinda like asking "where is 20 mA current loop now?"
They were proprietary in their origins but with open documentation and set a very good
standard for how to implement desktop interfaces "right".
ADB's concepts are strong and alive in USB.
Appletalk's concepts are strong and alive in Ethernet. (I know, Ethernet predates
Appletalk.)
