I've got a TI-85 in the original box sitting here and the back of the box
says (c) 1992, so you're certainly close enough.

Even if it isn't 10 years old, it is an excellent tool for learning Z80
assembly, which is very much on-topic! The relevant site is ticalc.org ,
which certainly seems to have grown since I last frequented it 1996 or so.
