why put a label on at all?
Do you plan on setting the chip/system out in the sun?
The only reason for a label is to write your code version on it. I've never
experienced a corrupted EPROM for my lack of covering the window.
The erase radiation is pretty intense, a germicidal lamp for 10 minutes or so. You will
never experience this flux lever in a home/office environment.

I've used Avery 6107 for years--they're just a white paper 1/2" x
3/4" adhesive label. But there are many other Avery choices;
permanet adhesive, foil label, round vs. rectangular, etc.
