Actually, our government controls *access* to who and what gets into the news. Today, news isn't about Edward R. Murrow or Walter Cronkite. Its about money, looking good, keeping up the ratings, and, just occasionally, a slanted nod to what's going on in the world. "Truth" went the way of the wind with (maybe before) Kennedy... Cheers!
