Surprisingly enough, yes. My first personal VAX was a VAXstation 3100,
and I used an Atari 520ST and it's VT52 emulator as my console. It
worked just fine. I'm not a big fan of the Atari 520ST keyboard, but it
was adequate enough to work with the system. I don't remember if I had
to use a straight through cable or a null-modem.
