There are still a lot of 2nd hand VAX systems available, but depending on what you want to spend, it might be hard to get a good working one, because a lot of them are still used or spared for special programs. If you would be looking for any manual I could be able to make you a copy as we are working with VAX ALPHA-computers ourselves.
