Sounds like you've got one of the later System 3's with a Tandon TM848;
the older ones used dual-slot Perscis, which used 110VAC for the motor.
Hm, that might've been a bad asumption on my part. I do believe the ones in
there is indeed one of those dual-slot Persci drives.
And of course he could also use a 5 1/4" drive
instead.
Sure, anything's possible, but the box really isn't set up for those.
