Well, I seem to have gotten my power supply
straightened out. It wasn't
the switch after all, but the power supply itself. A different problem
has now manifested itself.
On power on I am getting this on the console:
Error 61
M8190 Clock Error
It then spits out the contents of various registers and asks if I want
to run the test again.
I couldn't find this particular error via the normal search engines.
Does any have any ideas as to what the problem may be and how to correct
it?
Not a clue. Doesn't sound good, but may just be someting to do with
a TOY clock, but I don't think the 83 had one of those. Other possibilities
are the 60hz interrupt from the power line, or the main CPU's clock.
They used "clock" to refer to a lot of different things.
I suggust posting to alt.sys.pdp11 where there are a lot of
pdp-11 gurus hang out.
