The Belkin I have seems to have had the ability to switch screens from the keyboard 'burned out'. It quite working after I tried mulitiple times to switch to a nonexistant system (oops). Other than that I really like mine. I've used it with PC's and DEC Alpha's, and the only problem I've had is with having the Alpha's keyboard plugged in, the KVM would forget that there is a keyboard on the KVM, not just for the Alpha, but for everything. Still as nice as it is, it's even nicer to have multiple monitors (of course that requires you to have the desktop realestate and the monitors. Just stay away from the mechanical switches if you're going to be running anything modernish. They seem to ghost unless you've a very slow refresh. Zane
