I found one of these today but didn't pick it up. Should I have? I don't
know anything about these, anybody care to enlighten me?

Solbourne built licenced clones of the Sun SparcStations in the early
1990s. We had some at INMOS for software development under SunOS.
I think they had a slightly different kernel from the Suns. Not sure
exactly what you get in a model 600, though.

Hi,
Solbourne = Sun Microsystems SunOS compatible machines, some faster than Sun's.
I would pick it up, who knows, you'll probably get some SMD
controllers and disks etc. Good stuff IMHO.
But if you don't you should notify this guy I'm sure he'll be interested :
