Hello language fans - I've been notified that the folks at York University in Toronto are celebrating the 50th anniversary of the APL programming language on November 1 of this year. The event is dedicated to the 50th anniversary of APL and will include invited lectures, exhibits, demos, movies, etc. They sent me a PDF flyer which I have posted here: chiclassiccomp.org/apl50invite.pdf Too far and too soon for me but I hope someone on the list can make it! -- jht
