The natural ones are quite bad enough! But seriously, look at the way robots are portrayed in Clifford Simak's novels - good at getting jobs done, and even at making decisions, but not good on creativity. I suspect the first truly thinking AI will be a bit like that... Sladek, isn't it? I've read it, but I didn't enjoy it much. Too much gratuitous violence, and robots too human physically.
