I powered up my Canon BJC-250 again (in my original post, written on my mobile phone, I missed out the "C"). It beeped once during the start-up routine, with the green light flashing. Once it finished the start-up routine the green light stopped flashing and stayed on. A few seconds later (when the printer goes into standby mode?) the light starts flashing again. After searching the internet some more, I found the table below. I don't think the problem is a cartridge detection problem as I reinstalled the original cartridge and I got the same problem - green light flashing (no beep though) and printer refusing to print from the computer. I did manage to get it to do a test print, but it didn't actually print anything onto the paper. This leaves me to believe it is a RAM issue (if I'm reading the table below correctly). So, does anyone know where I would get RAM for this? Has anyone actually taken this printer apart before? Does anyone have a copy of the *service* manual? It was working fine the other day and stopped halfway through printing something. I changed the ink cartridge, but it still doesn't work.
