I would go with the IIGS method, myself. Remember that the IIGS supports localtalk
networking, and chances are you could get it to image a disk onto a "remote"
macintosh disk somewhere, given the proper software. (Note that I don't know if such
software exists...)
I seem to remember there may be a "disk copy" like app for IIGS, but I
couldn't tell you where I've seen it.
