I can tell you how I persinally did it.. I set up a unix box (netbsd or linux - I have both) and have it run a web server. All my mp3's are playable from any machine and any archetecture that way. Most f not all mp3 players have the ability to play files from the internet so I just point them to my intranet mp3 box and off they go! No hassles with multiplatform file services that way. Http is a pretty standard way of delivering MP3's. -Linc.
