Does anyone know of any early (pre-1990) computers, other than the early
Toshibas, that used the parallel port to access an external floppy drive
(or other external storage device)? Thanks!

The Epson Equity LT laptop (model Q150A) did this, but you have to flip a
DIP switch to tell it what you're hooking up to it. It's from '87 or
'88.
