Those are kinda neat, in that in addition to CP/M, they run "NEC-DOS" (a
Microsoft written "stand-alone BASIC" somewhat akin to what they did
with the Coco)

"TRS-80 Disk and other mysteries" was Harv Pennington's first book of the
series, and was the de-facto reference for learning the TRS-DOS disk
format. Later on, he distributed a PC-DOS version of Michael Shrayer's
"Electric Pencil"! (the most popular microcomputer word processor before
CP/M, and before Wordstar)
