Thanks for the info.. I tried that... and any command I issue says 'license
not enabled'... it DOES initialize and come up during the boot sequence...
says battery good, etc... so I know it works..

This weekend I picked up a DECsystem 5000/240

got used...
I have a 2gb disk, and cdrom on it, and am installing Ultrix 4.5 now...
I am using a VT510 as the console.
Anyone know how to setup, etc the Prestoserve option?
It's been a long while since I played with a Prestoserve! From what I can
recall (less than usual today - far too much motor sport in the wrong
timezones this weekend!) in earlier versions of Ultrix there was some add
on software, but 4.5 is sufficiently recent that it's probably built in.
Have you tried "man prestoserve"?
