ISTR the RS/6000 (68000?) being called a
microcomputer. But it was
out of
my price range.

Gee, I just offered a nice classic RS/6000-520 that you coulda had for free
;-)
Lots o' 40-bit memory, 32 ports, SCSI HD & tape; really hated to see it
go to the dump.

There's no doubt that the 520 was an historic machine, and my cat
loves the rumble all the 7013-5xx systems make.
However. Even when it was current, the -520 was amazingly,
painfully, hemorrhoid-inducingly SLOW.
