I've rarely needed to find Linux source code) I never allowed ZIP drives in my house but I tried using 1 gig JAZ drives. I ruined them by trying the SCSI low-level format command on them. The cartridge was unuseable after that. I suspect ZIP drives & cartridges are similar: DO NOT LOW LEVEL FORMAT! -- jeffj
