I have got hold of an Alpha would anyone be able to put an image of
either the install cd or the hobby cd somewhere I could download it. I
have the spl but can't find the OS disk.

I just went through this for my shiny new (to me) AlphaServer 1000A. Do
you have an appropriate license pak? If not, you'll need to get one.
It was quite easy and I got it via this link:

you have an appropriate license pak? If not, you'll need to get one.
