Mine has the 'PTA Prototype' markings on the inside of the front cover as well. From talking with other's it would appear that those markings aren't uncommon. The thing I always found interesting was that even though earlier Lisa 2 and 2/5's weren't intended to use the internal Widget hard disk due to the lack of internal connector for it, the faceplate still has the drive access light window for it.
