to find SunOS .LE. 4.1.1 or Solaris .LE. 2.3 to demonstrate it (and

Sun 3 hardware).

I have 4.1.1 on two QIC tapes, but the label says it's for Sun 4c. I have
no idea if it would boot on your system, but I'll try copying the tapes for
you if you'd like.
Also, hang tight on the CPU board for a day or so. I do a lot of business
with a local used computer place, and last I looked they had a blort-load
of old Sun boards. I'll go by Monday and see if I can find some CPU or
memory for your 470.

Thanks to everyone who replied regarding our Sun quest; the help
is much appreciated. It sure is a pleasure to find a site like
'sun3arc' for the long-term support of an important class of machines
'sunset' by the vendor.
