Mosaic-CK is a fork of NCSA Mosaic I maintain as a "Lynx with graphics" for various older operating systems, including Power MachTen, but also as a historical simulation of the early days of the World Wide Web that can run on modern operating systems as well. It currently builds on Mac OS X and Power MachTen, and there is now experimental support for Linux once again. This current version adds: - Split rendering: (default) alternative renderer with - UTF-8 and Unicode translation (partial) - Larger HTML subset support versus the classic renderer, toggleable on the fly - Progressive rendering, to ameliorate page loads - Bug fixes, custodial cleanup, etc. A Universal Binary is available for Mac OS X 10.4+.
