I now have hands on the machine, and no cpm card (lots of floppies) and no serial card (just a db-25 cable). beggers can't be choosers. Any suggestions on the cpm card? I poked on ebay, and what is there didn't give me a warm fuzzy. I do have an apple 2 card cpm card somewhere, but would rather not scrounge it. I'll read the ADP posting, unless someone has words of wisdom on the proper serial card to add to the thread. I know that some cards had actual uarts on them, but the apple original card I had just wiggled the lines, and listened, and had no uart. Many school systems in the US dumped whatever IIgs stock they had left a few years back (at that time you could not give them away).
