Your post about the PC 8000 by Franklin just reminded me that I always
wanted an Franklin Ace.
The PC 8000 is neat, and I must say I've never knew Franklin made an 8088.

I dont know what an Ace is. What I thought I posted was a link to a PC

I've always wanted a Franklin ACE. I love the
wooden case. I
recently acquired a Northstar Horizon S-100 system which has a wood
cover.
Although, it's in really rough shape.

There is a guy across the street that does wood-working. I am thinking
about removing the innards, taking it over, and having him make a nice
look
replacement cover for it. (Hanging on to the
original, of course).
