While you hear a lot about 'classic' common
old CPU's -- apple, radio
shack,
commodore do people find any homebrewed computers did that
all stop when
the S-100 bus came out?
Well, I think I may have mentioned this earlier, but my Heath H8 has a wire-wrapped
(nearly obviously home-brewed) daughterboard added on to the CPU card. The main CPU used
to be 8080, but the daughterboard holds a Z80 and a couple other things. It seems to
work.
That's the closest thing I've seen.
