likely, there was a repackaged version of the machine for
use
in software development, with more appropriate peripherals
for
testing code than a gyro platform and a nuke!

Could be. It did come from a Govliquidation auction though. It was installed in a rack
with a military 9 track tape drive. I would believe they used commercial sometimes for
testing and development.
Sure wish I had the processor to go with it!
