There definitely were chips of that nature sold, but I don't think
they were ever badged "2114". Perhaps 4108s? ISTR you had to specify
high or low parts.
The ones we have been discussion are definitely mid-1970s-technology
1Kx4 SRAMs in the 150ns-250ns range. 18 pin DIPs.
