I beg to differ on opinions on e-mail quoting. I
really dislike having to
scroll past all of the stuff I have already read, or even scan through a
mix of old and new.
That's one of the reasons I like threaded message boards better then email
lists.
Sure, the information isn't "delivered to your door" but you can follow a
thread from A to B easily, ignore threads you don't care about completely
and figure out what the latest additions are very quickly.
Of course, there's the possibility of the same types of issues you see
here with excessive quoting and such, but it seems a lot less prevalent on
boards I frequent.
