Nope, 8086-based box. EBCDIC-based with ISTR optional hook-in to IBM
mainframe systems.
When I was cracking DW codes, I recall that about half the text-
formatting smarts were in the printer, not in the x86 box.
There was a small market for 3rd party software for the thing also.
