Where I've seen most of the failures is where they're used on
switching supplies as filter capacitors. With the high ripple
frequency, I suspect it's a problem with a too-high ESR that
eventually causes these to destruct. Filter caps on linear line-
frequency supplies generally last a lot longer, though even they dry
out eventually.
