Do you know what eventually happened to the machine after you left it?
I didn't find out until relatively recently, but in the "mid 90s"
the
Auckland University Computer Science department were invited to look at
the machine and got the front panel (it would have been difficult to do
much more in a short time, given where it was.) That would have been
something like 10 years after I abandoned it!

first IBM System/360 in Australia in 1966" which I think is the same
