different
systems. There was a 6809 card for the Apple II I would
have killed for years ago. I'd assume these 99/4A CP/M boards
I have a 6809 card called 'The Mill' in one of my Apple ][s. It seems to
have come in 2 versions -- the cheaper one, which I have, doesn't have a
ROM on it, and is used with a modified UCSD p-system. It thus speeds up
Pascal and Fortran programs, but it otherwise not that interesting. The
more expensive version of the card had a boot ROM on it, and would boot
OS-9 (obviously configured for the Apple, and put on GCR disks). I now
wish I'd got the latter version...
It's a pretty simple card. The 6809 CPU, a few bus buffers, and a bit of
TTL glue.
Hmm. Doesn't sound too different from the set-up in the SuperPET.
