Certainly, via either a current loop adapter, or a 103J modem.
AFAIK our school district had *only* Teletypes for user terminals
on the 2000/C' and 2000/Access systems.
Thus, they were either
generating CRLF, or the system was patched.
I remember only hitting one key, but it may have been LF.
