The rumor is, by the way, that July, 1998, is likely to be the last
issue of Byte. Apparently, 90% of the Byte staff was dismissed today.

technical. One of the IBM ads says,"The IBM Personal Computer starts

recorder" (1982:1p61). Would this one device be a TRS-80?
