Even more OT, but potentially useful.
If you have trouble emailing ZIP or RAR archives containing
executables to recipients with servers that refuse such stuff (e.g.
gmail), try using LHARC to archive the attachment. It's crufty
enough that most spam filters don't recognize it, yet WinRAR (as well
as LHARC and a few other packages) processes the archive just fine.
I suspect that the same holds for .ARC, .LBR and .ZOO archives.
