So, Hercules on the PC or even the lowly Amstrad PCW don't count?
They look pretty bit-mapped to me. The PCW doesn't even have a
character generator ROM--if you get an error during OS load, you have
to beep to signal a problem if the character generators aren't
loaded.
And what about the Atari ST? Looks pretty bit-mapped to me.
