compatibility-related command line options for the F77 compiler?

the resulting binary would work on modern systems? I have some
classic game source code from the time I want to get back online and
in the archives
Cross-release binary compatibility is generally pretty good in VMS;
I'd say it's worth a try. For that matter, I'd expect the old compilers
themselves to run as well.
