becomes an issue when you have the drive :~) See

Speaking of cleaning, is anyone aware of any service facility that can
clean
a disk pack? I have a Four Phase System IV/90 that I will be firing up ADN
and it uses a CDC 9762 drive. I would like to have the packs "cleaned" so
that when I fire it up we don't crater the heads first thing.
