True. Server stuff is fairly lean. The kernel is still getting pretty damn big,
though.
Every distribution wants to cram in a ton of stuff that they think everyone wants, and it
ends up being HUGE (and frankly, likely confusing for the newbie). I remember product
installs where you could check/uncheck things to be installed as you wanted, but I guess
they figure those are too intimidating. :-p -- Ian
